Terms of Use

These terms are an agreement between you and Grailbox (“we”, “us”). By creating an account or using Grailbox you agree to them. Grailbox is in beta, so things will change as we improve it.

Your account

• You must be 13 or older.
• Give accurate details, keep your password safe, and tell us if you think someone else has got into your account.
• You're responsible for what happens on your account.

Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, text and other things you add. You give us permission to store and show them in Grailbox as you choose (for example on your public garage or a car's community page), and to make small changes such as resizing a photo. Only add content you have the right to share. You can remove your content, or delete your account, at any time.

Community rules

Please don't:

• harass, threaten or discriminate against anyone, or share anything unlawful or sexual involving children;
• scam, deceive or mislead people, including posting fake listings, fake reviews or pretending to be someone else;
• sell counterfeit, stolen or illegal items;
• spam people, or message people who don't want to hear from you;
• try to break, overload or get around the app's protections, or collect other people's information.

You can report or block anyone from their profile or a chat. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.

Trading between collectors

Grailbox helps collectors find each other. When you buy, sell or swap with someone, that deal is between the two of you. We don't handle the money or the postage, we don't check that people or items are what they say, and we're not responsible for a deal that goes wrong. Be careful, agree the details clearly, and don't send money or cars to someone you don't trust. Reviews should be honest and based on a real deal.

Prices and values

Prices and garage values in Grailbox are estimates based on public asking prices, for example on eBay. They aren't appraisals or guarantees of what a car will sell for, and they aren't financial advice.

Grailbox Pro

• Pro is a subscription, monthly or yearly, paid through Stripe. The price is shown before you pay. It renews each month or year until you cancel.
• You can cancel any time from the Grailbox Pro screen in Settings. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for.
• Free Pro months earned by helping the community have no cash value.
• Nothing in these terms limits any refund or other right you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Brands

Grailbox is independent. We're not affiliated with or endorsed by Hot Wheels, Matchbox, Mini GT or any other maker, brand or retailer. Their names and cars belong to their owners and are used here only to identify products.

The app itself

We work hard to keep Grailbox running, but it's provided “as is” and may have bugs, changes or downtime. Keep your own records of anything very valuable.

Our responsibility

Some rights under the Australian Consumer Law can't be excluded, and nothing here tries to. Beyond that, and as far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss from deals between users or from content other people post.

Ending things

You can stop using Grailbox and delete your account in Settings whenever you like. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk.

Changes and the law

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we'll update the date above and tell you in the app, and by continuing to use Grailbox you accept the new terms. These terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia.
